On Wednesday 20th April, BITSA and Amstelveen collaborated to hold the "BITSA x Amstelveen Presents: Mock Assessment Centre" event. The event involved a three-hour mock assessment centre which was reflective of the problems given in internships and graduate job interviews. Students participated in a group case and individual in-tray task, before receiving personalised feedback from the Amstelveen assessors.
Nearing the conclusion of our event, attendees were also given the opportunity to network with panellists, ask further questions regarding career experiences, and receive advice on nailing interviews. The mock assessment centre allowed students to experience an assessment centre, hone their casing, and sharpen their group work skills to better prepare themselves for future job opportunities.
